It is really difficult to see a group of people everyday for 8 weeks and then not see them for months! So we had a mini reunion in Boston because a bunch of us go to school nearby. It was SO MUCH FUN. Some of the most fun I have had! I am so excited I got to see you girls! :)

Why?!: Well, nothing terribly exciting happened today! I had classes all day so I was busy, busy, busy but today I am 20 years old! I had as much fun as I could possibly have on a Tuesday. I spent most of the night watching tv, taking walks, and tinkering with my new camera. It's so purdy. :)

Why?!: Well, the boy I babysit, A., he was allowed to take Super Bee home for the weekend and then had to bring him to school on Monday. We forgot to take him to school. So I went on a mission and rescued Super Bee from the kitchen counter in the middle of the day and brought him to A.'s school. It was a dangerous mission, but I suceeded! Good thing he's such a cute little fella. :)

Why?!: This was moments before the gates opened and the thousands of people (including my friend Erin there!) ran the B.A.A. half marathon! That's 13.1 miles! And all the money that was raised goes to cancer research! My friend Erin completed it and she did an amazing job!

Why?!: My friends and I were in Boston on Saturday and we went to the Back Bay Fens because one of them was running in the B.A.A. half marathon the next day and needed to pick up her number. So as we were walking to the tent, I took some pictures of the beautiful gardens that we passed on the way! They were all fenced and padlocked, so I wonder who keeps which garden. They're all so beautiful!

Why?!: This day was really, really busy--I babysat in the morning, then did student teaching for the first time, then worked in the library on a paper for five hours, and then came back and did more homework. Craziness! So I decided to relax a bit by listening to some music and watch a little bit of television online. It was great. :)

Why?!: Making Strides is amazing! It is one of the most amazing causes and it is just so fun! You get your exercise quota for the day too--what better way to spend a Sunday? :)

Bake Fail (#20)

Location, Location, Location!: Balfour Hood Campus Center, Wheaton College (MA).
Why?!: I chose to photograph some delicious cupcakes because I helped to make them for the bake sale on Saturday! We made about 48 cupcakes and definitely did not sell even half of them. It was raining and just gross outside so no one really came by to buy some of our cupcakes. It was for a really great cause--Breast Cancer Awareness! But it was kind of a fail. :(

Location, Location, Location!: Finally one not in my room! This is at a south eastern Mass. elementary school.
Why?!: This is the little boy I babysit, A. He is pretty much the most adorable thing ever. And has bundles and bundles of energy. We had a 'who can swing the highest' competition today (he won). I love photographing kids--they have such an innocence and a joy that is so rare in those who have left childhood. :)

Location, Location, Location!: The inside of my planner.
Why?!: I wrote in my planner everything that I have to do this week as far as I know and it is really really busy and crazy. I chose to photograph my planner because I basically bring this planner with me everywhere and it pretty much has my life in it. And to show how busy my life seems to be.

Why?!: Sometimes I wish that I wasn't so accustomed to putting at least some kind of makeup on every morning. I almost always put on at least mascara and foundation or I feel naked and somewhat exposed. What is everyone seeing? Zits? Me? I have no idea. I have the power to change this--but somehow I know that I won't.

Location, Location, Location!: My room this morning after my run (4ish miles what what!)
Why?!: I wanted to document something that is apart of my daily routine and schedule, and for the past two weeks I have been trying my hardest to make exercise a part of my life. I don't particularly like running (i prefer swimming), but it gets it done and that's it! I chose this time of day to photograph because I love the color of the early morning sunlight. It's beautiful! :)
