Location, Location, Location!: Finally one not in my room! This is at a south eastern Mass. elementary school.
Why?!: This is the little boy I babysit, A. He is pretty much the most adorable thing ever. And has bundles and bundles of energy. We had a 'who can swing the highest' competition today (he won). I love photographing kids--they have such an innocence and a joy that is so rare in those who have left childhood. :)

This was the last post of September, but I still have so far to go to make one month! Stay tuned!

Why?!:I saw the afternoon sunlight shining through my window, and the glimpse of the brilliantly orange tree outside and got a trill of excitement that fall is truly coming. Even now, I can hear the crunch of the leaves and the crisp smell of the air--my favorite time of year!

Location, Location, Location!: The inside of my planner.
Why?!: I wrote in my planner everything that I have to do this week as far as I know and it is really really busy and crazy. I chose to photograph my planner because I basically bring this planner with me everywhere and it pretty much has my life in it. And to show how busy my life seems to be.

SOO, I have no idea how many people are actually looking at this blog, if any at all. If you are, and if you like what you see, feel free to please leave a comment! I really encourage criticism. I want to grow and develop as a photographer. I am also very open to ideas on what to photograph day by day.

Why?!: My friends and I went on a spontaneous shopping trip and I got this new red dress and a couple of other things that I am really excited about! It was a great day. Spontaneous trips like that are always the best. :)

Location, Location, Location!: At the Loft at my school-- Groupo Fantasia came and they played the most amazing music! Everyone was loving it.
Why?!: I wasn't sure if I was going to have fun because I'm shy and I don't consider myself a good dancer, but I really ended up loving it and want to go to Latin American clubs! :)

Why?!: I chose to photography my friendship bracelets because I have been wearing them for about 3 or so months now, and they really mean a lot to me. I worked at a camp over the summer and it was one of the best experiences of my life--I owe so much to it and to the people! :)

Why?!: Sometimes I wish that I wasn't so accustomed to putting at least some kind of makeup on every morning. I almost always put on at least mascara and foundation or I feel naked and somewhat exposed. What is everyone seeing? Zits? Me? I have no idea. I have the power to change this--but somehow I know that I won't.

SO, It's only day 3 and I already was having a hard time with inspiration. I know there are about 2 people "following" this blog and they happen to be my roommates, so I know they are busy, but if anyone checks this out and has any ideas--share please! :)

Location, Location, Location!: My room this morning after my run (4ish miles what what!)
Why?!: I wanted to document something that is apart of my daily routine and schedule, and for the past two weeks I have been trying my hardest to make exercise a part of my life. I don't particularly like running (i prefer swimming), but it gets it done and that's it! I chose this time of day to photograph because I love the color of the early morning sunlight. It's beautiful! :)

Why?!: I love the colors--all the browns and yellows and how they blend so well together; the different shapes of the cheerios and the almonds and the nuts--it's warm and comforting!

Hello, World!

Hello everyone!

My name is Catie and this is my first blog ever. I am embarking on a project that I hope you will follow! I know there have been thousands of 365 Photos or Photo-A-Day-For-A-Year projects and they're all amazing and awe-inspiring and truly my inspiration for my own project! I am going to start with taking a photo every day for a month, and then see where it leads me. If its a flop, I'll revamp it and come up with something fresh, but if its received well, I'll extend it to a year!

I hope that my take on the 365 Photo Project is unique and interesting, and I hope you enjoy!
